To be honest, I thought in the first place that the address for my hotel was wrong :)) First, it was a huge change of the landscape, just came from Paris (no offense :P). The hotel looked a lot better than the pics saw on the booking website, and more than that, this building was referenced in my tourist guide as a living Victorian heritage in the City, pointing it as a must see in the neighborhood, some tourists were at that time in the hotel only visiting it. On the other hand, believe it or not, the apartment I had there was a lot cheaper than my tiny two stars room from the fraking Paris =)) Those bloody peasants =))

I was warned that London is like a Harkonen place... Details are excelling, you can see its pride and conceit, but its charm and style are unique, and its imperial perfume can be felt even nowadays.

Well... a good afternoon starts with a good English breakfast :D Eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, tomato, mushrooms and a toast make a good start for the day :D A lot better than the French's croissant =))

A really nice surprise... StarTrek meets Lord of the Rings... I knew that Patrick Stewart aka Jean-Luc Picard was actually a stage actor (as well Ian McKellen aka Gandalf), but seeing this with your own eyes is different. And, no matter what that guy said, I had in mind that famous voice saying "Space... the Final Frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise..." :D

This medieval church built by the Knights Templar is famed for its rare circular nave called "the Round", The Order of the Knights Templar was very powerful in England in that early period.

St. Paul's Cathedral is a major London landmark and has always been situated on Ludgate Hill, this place has long been associated with religion. It is believed that it was originally the site of an ancient megalith and then later a temple dedicated to the goddess Diana, in alignment with the Apollo Temple which once stood at Westminster.
