Last day in Dubrovnik. Almost the end of around 10 days break. In the end of the day was not such a bad idea coming here. I said to myself that I would leave Europe for later on, but I took this opportunity anyways, brains need to rest, and I have to say that the final argument was this video:

And indeed: the food is amazing here :P :D
Well, that was a nice surprise: Croatia Airlines. Barely felt the take-off and landing, it was smooth despite the landscape, that could give a lesson to bigger companies (like KLM for instance :P).

Leaving the port of Dubrovnik again..
...to visit Cavtat, some kind of village... Not so much to see there, damn, I should read about the places before visiting :))
Came back to Dubrovnik to try the Island of Lokrum, where it is said that Richard the Lionheart found sanctuary after his ship was wrecked when he returned from a crusade. In order to praise his salvation he intended to build a monastery on the island, but the construction was abandoned shortly due to citizen's claim to build it on the mainland. Few hundreds years after a duke continued it and transformed it for a while in its personal quarters.
Later on a botanical garden was founded on the island.

Time to try the islands nearby. Have to say that this was one of the best days in Croatia.
Some tourist operators have something like one day - three islands trip. Boat, food and drinks included, so you're saying why not? :))
First stop was Kolocep, not that much at first look...
Fresh fish is served :))

Next island is Sipan...
And the final island is Lopud.
Well, here I had the best tuna steak ever!
Have to say that the food and service on the islands is way better than on the mainland. Sometimes locations may seem rustic, but I would say that this brings more charm and flavor to the meal itself :)
Almost evening already, time to get back to Dubrovnik.
In my opinion the port is the best part of Dubrovnik :D

Dubrovnik is a city on the Adriatic Sea coast of Croatia, one of the most prominent tourist destinations on the Adriatic Sea. Not so much about this City, the place is not bad at all, although seemed to be quite posh compared with other places in Croatia, it was alrite in general, but let's say that I liked more Split :P Natives are quite proud of this place, almost everywhere you see the logo Dubrovnik - is there a more beautiful city... I would say: Yes, there is. Actually there are plenty :D
Well, the best part of the City is that you can reach easily more islands :)
