The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in Agra, India, that was built under Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. While the white domed marble and tile mausoleum is most familiar, Taj Mahal is an integrated symmetric complex of structures that was completed around 1648.

The main gateway (darwaza) is a monumental structure built primarily of marble and is reminiscent of Mughal architecture of earlier emperors.

Taj Mahal is considered the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage, which also appears in several listings of seven wonders of the modern world, including the recently announced New Seven Wonders of the World.

Agra Fort is the most important fort in India The Great Mughals: Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jahangir lived here, and the Country was governed from here. It contained larges state treasury and mint. It was visited by foreign ambassadors, travelers and the highest dignitaries who participated in the making of Medieval History of India. No other fort of India had this honor.
Agra Fort stands on an ancient site just by the river Jamuna, and first mentioned in 1080 C.E.

The legend says that when the Mughal was imprisoned in the Fort, he was crying and watching the Taj, sorrowing the love of his life...

This Fort was quite difficult to conquer it: in the water there were crocodiles, and after the wall in the small jungle predators like tigers and other cats were hungry. Meanwhile the guards from their stations attacked with arrows and miscellaneous weapons the enemies who tried to enter the Fort.
