Mount Tabor is a place near the Galilee Sea, very popular among the para gliders, due to its slopes with excellent wind that permits to stay in the air for a good long time. Also, it is believed by many to be the site of the Transfiguration of Christ, reason why there are two monasteries dedicated to this, one Franciscan and one Greek, where lots of pilgrims from all over the world are coming here to pray, search an advice or find an inner peace.

To get up there, you can hike for a long time, or you can take a maxi taxi, drivers are only Arab people (two Arab cities are at the base of the mountain) like this one :)
