On the nightstand where I was staying in Split was a tourist brochure stating that Trogir, which is less than 30 km from Split is a must-see. More than that, the editor proudly revealed that the historic centre of Trogir has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
So I left Split again to visit that so-called wonder. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed when I got there, could be that the city was too excessively and artificially restored, over commercialized, literally stuffed with restaurants and souvenir shops, which creates some kind of open-air mall atmosphere instead being a touristic spot. Of course, could be just me, but de gustibus non est disputandum :P
